The personal character of a family business – currently featuring the second generation – has not changed in spite of the company’s growth and the expansion of its activities. Our lines of communication are still short and we are closely involved with all our business contacts.

1959 Paridaans & Liebregts b.v. founded by calf traders Tiny Paridaans and Bert Liebregts.
1971 Belgian company p.v.b.a. PALI founded.
1990 Paridaans & Liebregts become co-shareholders of the Vitelco calf slaughterhouse.
1994 Italian sales office Vitelco Italia srl founded.
1996 Start of chain production of goat meat.
1997 Sale of transport activities.
1998 Expansion of pig trade through acquisition of Verstegen from Volkel.
1999 Start of dealership for production and sale of JSR breeding pigs in the south of the Netherlands.
2001 Paridaans & Liebregts become sole shareholders of Vitelco.
Purchase of cattle slaughterhouse Dumeco in ’s-Hertogenbosch.
2003 Offices move from Eersel to ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
2004 Acquisition of Varkenshandel A.G. Arts from Volkel.
Founding of skin-salting works Bohide b.v. (formerly Manders) in Cuijk
2005 Acquisition of JSR breeding pigs dealership for the Netherlands and Belgium
2006 Acquisition of Varkenshandel A. v.d. Ven from Heesch.
Acquisition of deboning plant Koch Kalbfleisch GmbH in Frankfurt am Mainz (Germany).

The client and consumers’ points of view are paramount in this: high-quality production that is fast and easy to prepare.

Vision
An equilibrium must develop within the production chain between margins (every link should be profitable). Furthermore, the individual links in the chain should all have the same point of departure:
supplying products which meet consumer demand and which compete with products from other production chains. The products should be recognisable thereby distinguishing themselves on the market .
